Das Bird of Prey ist das wohl bekannteste und meistverkaufte Bier von Uiltje. Es orientiert sich am klassischen American IPA-Stil: Eine harmonische Balance aus moderater, schlanker Malzsüße und einer betonten, vielschichtigen Hopfenbittere.
Die Brauer aus Haarlem über ihr Bier: "Ein echtes Superhelden-IPA, das ist einer unserer Helden, auf den wir sehr stolz sind. Sowohl tropische als auch Zitrusfrüchte sind in diesem übernatürlichen IPA enthalten.Es kann nicht gezähmt werden, also trinken Sie es so frisch wie möglich!"
Aroma & Geschmacksnote:
Das Bier verdankt sein starkes, fruchtig-harziges Profil der Kombination aus den drei US-Hopfenklassikern Citra, Mosaic und Chinook:

Aroma (Nase): Reiche Tropen- und Zitrusfrüchte. Deutliche Noten von Grapefruit, Passionsfrucht, Mango und Zitrone, begleitet von einer leichten Pinien- und Nadelwald-Harznote.

Geschmack (Gaumen): Im Antrunk frisch und fruchtig (Grapefruit, Ananas, Zitrusschale). Zur Mitte hin schlägt die harzige Würze des Chinook-Hopfens durch.

Mundgefühl & Abgang: Mittelschlanker Körper mit knackiger Carbonisierung. Es schließt sehr trocken ab und hinterlässt eine deutliche, erfrischende Bittere (50 IBU).
