Der Trooper Red ’N’ Black Porter ist ein offizielles Bier der britischen Heavy-Metal-Legende Iron Maiden, das in Zusammenarbeit mit der traditionsreichen englischen Brauerei Robinsons Brewery (Stockport) gebraut wird. Entwickelt wurde es von Robinsons’ Chefbraumeister Martyn Weeks und Iron-Maiden-Sänger (und Bierliebhaber) Bruce Dickinson.
Geschmack und Mundgefühl:

Antrunk: Vollmundig, cremig und wärmend.

Geschmacksnoten: Eine komplexe Mischung aus Bitterschokolade, gerösteten Kaffeebohnen und einer angenehmen Karamellsüße. Durch den Einsatz spezieller Malze (unter anderem Chocolate und Crystal Malt) entsteht eine feine Balance zwischen röstiger Bittere und malziger Süße.

Abgang: Der Abgang ist langanhaltend, trocken und von einer angenehmen, hopfigen Bitternote geprägt, die perfekt mit den schweren Malzaromen harmoniert. Die 6,8 % Alkohol sind spürbar, aber hervorragend eingebunden.
