Das Silly Saison Village Bio ist eine relativ neue Veröffentlichung der Brasserie de Silly, die im Jahr 2025 sogar die Goldmedaille bei den World Beer Awards gewonnen hat.
Es unterscheidet sich deutlich vom „klassischen“ Silly Saison. Während das Original oft als eher dunkel, bernsteinfarben und malzig beschrieben wird, ist das Saison Village Bio eine moderne, helle und biologisch zertifizierte Interpretation des Stils.

Stil: Bio-Saison / Farmhouse Ale (Blonde).
Alkoholgehalt: 5,5 % vol.
Zertifizierung: 100 % biologisch (Bio-Gerstenmalz, Hefe sowie Kent- und Hallertau-Hopfen aus ökologischem Anbau).

Hintergrund: Es basiert auf einem Familienrezept von 1850 und ist eine Hommage an Marcellin Meynsbrughen, den Gründer der Brauerei.
Geschmack & CharakteristikDieses Bier wurde entwickelt, um die Brücke zwischen alter Tradition und modernem Craft-Beer-Geschmack zu schlagen:
Optik: Trübes Strohgelb mit einer stabilen, weißen Schaumkrone.
Aroma: Sehr lebendig mit Noten von Zitronenschale, schwarzem Pfeffer und hellen Früchten.
Geschmack: Ein komplexes Zusammenspiel aus süßlichem Malz und einer feinen Hopfenbittere. Es hat den typischen „funky“ Saison-Charakter (leicht würzig/hefig), bleibt aber sehr süffig.
Abgang: Ausgesprochen trocken und erfrischend – genau so, wie ein klassisches Saison für die Feldarbeiter früher sein musste.
