The Wuide Hehna from Hoppebräu in Waakirchen is a real highlight for fans of hoppy, yet light beers. It is a classic Session IPA, which means full hop aroma with significantly reduced alcohol content.
Taste & Character
- Appearance: In the glass, the beer shows a light, slightly hazy golden hue with a beautiful, white head.
- Aroma: As soon as you raise the glass, intense notes of citrus fruits, melon, and peach waft towards you.
- Taste: Despite its low alcohol content, it does not taste watery. The fruity sweetness is balanced by a crisp, but not excessive, bitterness. It is extremely drinkable (or as they say in Bavaria: "Gscheid süffig!").
- Mouthfeel: Zesty, light, and very refreshing – perfect for a beer garden or after sports.
