Der Goose Island Bourbon County Brand Double Barrel Heaven Hill Bottled-in-Bond Stout (2025) ist das absolute Highlight-Reihenstück des Lineups von 2025. Es stellt eine exklusive Kooperation zwischen der Goose Island Brewery und der traditionsreichen Heaven Hill Distillery dar.
Brau- und Reifeprozess:

First Barrel Aging: Das Imperial Stout reifte zunächst ein Jahr lang in Heaven Hill Bottled-in-Bond Bourbon-Fässern.

Second Barrel Aging: Anschließend wurde das Bier umgefüllt und verbrachte ein zweites volles Jahr in frischen Heaven Hill Bottled-in-Bond-Fässern derselben Brennerei.

Besonderheit: Durch diese zweijährige, doppelte Reifung in Fässern eines der renommiertesten Bottled-in-Bond-Bourbons der USA extrahiert das Bier eine extrem konzentrierte Fass-Aromatik und ausgeprägte Holzkomplexität.
