Purple Haze ist ein modern interpretiertes Double Dry Hopped (DDH) India Pale Ale der bayerischen Craft-Beer-Brauerei FrauGruber Brewing (Gundelfingen an der Donau). Mit einem Alkoholgehalt von 6,8 % ABV verbindet es eine kräftige Malzbasis mit intensivster Kalthopfung.

Hopfung & Brauart: Durch das Verfahren der zweifachen Kalthopfung (Double Dry Hopping) werden maximale Mengen ätherischer Hopfenöle gelöst, ohne zusätzliche Bittere aufzubauen. Zum Einsatz kommen typischerweise neuseeländische und US-amerikanische Aromahopfen (wie Nelson Sauvin, Citra oder Mosaic).
