The Camba Chiemsee Märzen is an excellent example of how Bavarian tradition can be combined with modern brewing artistry. Camba Bavaria from Seeon has created a beer here that shows significantly more character than a standard lager.
Taste Profile
As it is a Märzen (traditionally brewed stronger to last through the summer), it is fuller-bodied and more malty than a light export lager.

Appearance: It impresses with a clear, copper to amber color and a fine-pored, stable head.

Aroma: Malty notes dominate the nose. You smell freshly baked bread crust, roasted hazelnuts, and a delicate caramel sweetness.

Taste: On the palate, it is very soft and almost creamy. The sweetness is reminiscent of honey and toffee, but is perfectly balanced by a very subtle hop bitterness in the background.

Finish: Despite its 5.8%, it is extremely quaffable and finishes with a pleasant, round malty note.
