Black To Basics (Wild Turkey BA) ist ein imposanter Imperial Stout der estnischen Handwerksbrauerei Anderson's Brewery (aus Tartu). In dieser speziellen Version wurde der dunkle Basis-Stout in Eichenholzfässern ausgebaut, in denen zuvor bekannter amerikanischer Wild Turkey Bourbon Whiskey reifte.

Aroma: Sehr komplex und intensiv. Es dominieren tiefdunkle Röstmalzaromen (Kaffee, bittersüße Schokolade und Kakao) kombiniert mit prägnanten Holz- und Bourbonnoten, Vanille, Karamell sowie feinen Akzenten von getrockneten Früchten und Toffee.

Am Gaumen entfalten sich dichte Schokoladen- und Espressonoten, gefolgt von der charakteristischen, leicht süßlichen und würzig-alkoholischen Wärme des Wild Turkey Bourbons. Eichenholz-Tannine sorgen im Abgang für eine angenehme Struktur und Balance zur Malzsüße.
